Overview

Key Responsibilities:
Direct the day-to-day operation of the shift production team.
Responsible for the production output and managing his teams to deliver daily and monthly production targets for various sections.
Provides supervision, guidance and oversight to his subordinate staff and intervenes and resolves problems as necessary.
Prepares daily shift reports on output/throughput / Boiler diesel consumed and equipment
Prepare his team’s weekly attendance report and send it to the concerned managers
Ensure that all working areas are kept clean and tidy according to GMP standard
Ensure compliance with FSSC 22000, ISO 22000:2018, ISO/TS22002 and HACCP standards and procedures
Ensure that all cocoa products produced at the facility comply with the Quality/safety standards
Ensure HACCP, CCP and OPRP plan is consistently up to date and variations are identified and highlighted to the line managers
Effectively manage workforce through planning, scheduling and assessment of operational needs everyday, ensuring the permanent & outsourced workforce is adequately utilized.
Ensures effective utilization of FG storage areas and observes proper loading, stacking and safekeeping of all finished goods to prevent damages, spillages and occupational hazards
Ensures all the utility equipment (forklifts, stackers and pallet trucks) are well taken care of and kept in good working condition, if any problems highlight to the line manager.
Ensures accuracy of the product inventories against the shift reporting, carry out regular stock counts at the beginning and closing of shift
Provides administrative support to the line manager, updates and chase the delegated tasks whenever assigned by the management
Ensure safe and orderly working environment for the faculty by identifying the workplace safety hazards.
Performs all other responsibilities as required by the Production Manager.
Qualification: B. Eng, HND.
Experience: 5 years and above
Gender: Male preferably
Age: Not more than 45 years

Abilities/Requirements:
Experience managing or supervising a team is a must.
Experience working in a production environment is a plus.
Ability to work independently
Must be physically fit.
