Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Yaba, Lagos State, Nigeria
Job Type: Full Time
Duties:
l Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives in the investment and credit facilities sector.
l Lead and manage the sales and business development team to drive performance and achieve targets.
l Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on investment and credit facilities.
l Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
l Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
l Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of qualified leads.
l Negotiate and close high-value deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
l Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective promotional campaigns and lead generation strategies.
l Prepare and present sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
l Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and best practices.
l Provide training, mentorship, and support to the sales and business development team.
l Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
l Monitor and analyze sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
l Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
l Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Requirements:
l Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
l Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, or Sales Manager for at least five (5) years.
l Extensive experience in the investment and credit facilities sector.
l Strong understanding of sales processes, strategies, and techniques specific to investment and credit facilities.
l Excellent leadership and team management skills.
l Proficiency in CRM software, financial analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
l Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
l Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
l Strong organizational and time management abilities.
l Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
