Head Teacher – Quality Control and Assurance

Reports to: School Principal/CEO

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teaching and Learning: Oversee the quality of teaching and learning across the primary school initially and secondary school later, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards and school goals.

2. Teacher Performance Management: Monitor, evaluate, and develop teacher performance through regular observations, feedback, and coaching.

3. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure consistency and excellence in teacher delivery.

4. Curriculum Development: Lead the development and implementation of curriculum programs, ensuring relevance and rigor.

5. Staff Development: Design and deliver professional development programs to enhance teacher capacity and skills.

6. Student Progress: Analyze student progress data to inform teacher development and improve student outcomes.

7. Parent and Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with parents and the community, ensuring open communication and collaboration.

8. Policy and Compliance: Ensure adherence to school policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

1. Improved teacher performance and student outcomes

Requirements:
1. Suitable qualifications in Education or related field
2. Proven experience as a Head Teacher, Senior Teacher or similar leadership role
3. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
4. Good understanding of curriculum design and implementation.
