Overview

Key Responsibilities:

1.        Recruitment and Staffing:

·      Lead end-to-end recruitment processes to attract, hire, and retain top talent.

·      Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.

2.        Training and Development:

·      Design and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and career development.

·      Facilitate workshops, seminars, and other learning opportunities for continuous growth.

3.        Performance Management:

·      Develop and oversee performance appraisal systems to ensure consistent employee evaluations.

·      Work with management to set clear performance expectations and provide feedback.

4.        Employee Relations:

·      Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns and managing conflict resolution.

·      Promote open communication channels to support employee engagement and well-being.

5.        Compensation and Benefits:

·      Design competitive compensation structures and benefits packages to motivate and retain employees.

·      Regularly review and update compensation policies in line with industry standards.

6.        Compliance and Legal Adherence:

·      Ensure compliance with all labor laws, regulations, and company policies.

·      Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to HR management and update policies as necessary.

 

7.        Policy Development and Implementation:

·      Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures that align with company objectives.

8.        Workforce Planning and Change Management:

·      Analyze workforce needs and develop strategies to ensure effective resource allocation.

·      Support organizational changes and provide guidance to employees during transitions.

Requirements:

·      Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM) is a plus.

·      Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in human resource management, preferably within a diverse operational setting.

·      Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices in Nigeria.

·      Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

·      Ability to work in multiple locations (Lagos, Delta State, or other regions) as needed.

·      Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to manage conflict effectively.

·      Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
