Overview
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to oversee and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies in Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE). The successful candidate will have a strong background in QA/QC and HSE, with relevant certifications and experience in managing compliance programs.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs for QA/QC and HSE
– Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies
– Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify compliance gaps
– Develop and implement corrective action plans to address compliance issues
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance into business operations
– Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance requirements
– Manage and maintain compliance documentation and records
– Liaise with regulatory agencies, auditors, and industry organizations
– Stay up-to-date with changing regulations, standards, and best practices
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health)
– 5+ years of experience in QA/QC and HSE, with a focus on compliance management
– Relevant certifications:
– QA/QC: ISO 9001, AS9100, or equivalent
– HSE: OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training Program, NEBOSH, or equivalent
– Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in QA/QC and HSE
– Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
– Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
– Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
– Experience with compliance software and management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OSHA)
– Master’s degree in a relevant field is an added advantage
– Experience in a similar industry (e.g., ICT, oil and gas)
– Additional certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lead Auditor)
– Experience with risk management and business continuity planning
– Familiarity with international standards and regulations (e.g., EU, ISO)
