Overview

As an Electronics Design Engineer specializing in ADCs and DACs, you will be a pivotal member of our hardware development team, responsible for designing, simulating, and implementing advanced analog and mixed-signal circuits. You will contribute your expertise to the entire product lifecycle, from concept development and prototyping to validation and production support. You should have a desire to work for a smaller company that has a close-knit, healthy atmosphere, where all team members have a voice and the opportunity to innovate.
Key Responsibilities:  Develop detailed circuit schematics for ADC and DAC circuits for RF performance, area constraints, and manufacturability.
Simulate high current, low voltage power supplies using LTspice and LTpowerCAD.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including digital design engineers, PCB designers, and firmware developers to integrate ADCs and DACs into complex electronic systems.
Prototype and validate designs through thorough testing, debugging, and characterization using lab equipment and simulation tools.
Ensure designs meet industry standards and customer specifications.
Participate in design reviews, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in ADCs and DACs.
Generate and maintain BOMs and assembly drawings to support purchasing and manufacturing.
Generate support documents such as user guides, datasheets, and test procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications: Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
Significant experience (5+ years minimum, 10+ years preferred) in electronic design with a strong focus on ADCs and DACs.
Designing and implementation of RF circuits: 1-12GHz required, 12GHz+ desired.
Experience with ADC and DAC circuits (up to 12GSPS, including signal conditioning.
Design and implementation of ultra-low phase noise clock distribution circuits.
Power distribution system design and simulation.
Proficiency in CAD tools for circuit design and simulation (e.g., Orcad, LTSPICE).
Hands-on experience with state-of-the-art lab equipment for testing and debugging of analog and mixed-signal circuits.
