Overview

Core Responsibilities:

Store Hygiene & Cleanliness:
Ensure that all hygiene standards are met, including maintaining clean and professional dress/uniform, shoes, hair, nails, and body odor.
Ensure the store is customer-ready by 08:00 HRS.
Manage the cleanliness of shelves, floors, and display areas throughout the day.
Customer Relationship & Service:
Develop strong customer relationships by ensuring prompt and professional service.
Manage morning briefings, customer service training, new product training, and loyalty card promotions.
Operational Management:
Oversee the daily operations, ensuring the store is functioning smoothly and meeting all performance goals.
Ensure cashiers are prepared with receipt rolls and other necessary supplies.
Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) is followed to reduce wastage and monitor the quality of fruits and vegetables, including packaged items like rocket, basil, and kale.
Inventory & Ordering:
Manage inventory by placing accurate orders, reducing wastage, and following up on supplier returns and GRRN (goods receipt and return notes).
Conduct daily performance evaluations and monitor waste, aiming for a maximum waste rate of 3.5% over 30 days.
Daily & Monthly Tasks:
Complete DSR (Daily Sales Report) reconciliation, Google Sheets maintenance, and verify price updates.
Submit expiry intimation reports on the 5th and 20th of each month.
Display & Store Maintenance:
Manage store displays, ensuring morning and evening displays are appealing and up to standard.
Ensure all company assets are in good working condition.
Conduct regular checks using the Operation Branch Manual and maintain the pantry.
Performance & Reporting:
Provide daily targets and work to increase monthly transactions (1.5% MOM increase) and average transaction value (Rs. 25/- MOM increase).
Monitor customer feedback, ensuring a high percentage of positive responses.
Track and control cash, card, and customer credit transactions, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
Track wastage, inventory variance, and other key metrics, reporting monthly on performance.
Branch Closing & Financial Oversight:
Oversee branch closing, ensuring all files (DSR, DCS, Petty Cash) are properly maintained, signed, and reconciled.
Manage energy consumption (KE Units) and petty cash control.
Handle bank discount files, supplier returns, and conduct FAOTW (Focus Area of the Week) sessions with staff.
Compliance & Audit:
Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed, including proper filling of the Branch Operation Checklist.
Submit daily closing pictures and ensure all reporting and documentation are complete.

About Fresh Basket

Requirements:

Minimum age of 40 years.
At least 3 years of experience in retail FMCG, particularly in supermarkets or stores.
Proven excellence in customer service, including greeting, assisting, and resolving customer issues with a down-to-earth approach.
Strong leadership and customer service skills.
Experience with inventory control, financial oversight, and staff management.
Proficient in Google Sheets and other retail management tools.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs90,000.00 - Rs110,000.00 per month
