Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Medical Scribe to support healthcare providers by accurately documenting patient encounters and maintaining comprehensive medical records. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in medical terminology, transcription, electronic health records (EHR) systems, and anatomy and physiology to ensure high-quality, timely documentation.
As a critical member of the clinical team, you will work closely with healthcare providers to streamline communication, enhance clinical workflow, and ultimately contribute to improved patient care. Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience as a medical transcriber, or similar.
Ability to transcribe accurately and maintain a minimum typing speed of 40+ words per minute.
In-depth knowledge of medical terminology.
Attention to detail in order not to compromise patient care.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and meet legal requirements.
Hours: 8:30am- 5:30pm, Monday – Thursday, Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
