Job Title: Accountant
Location: Yaba, Lagos
Position Overview:
As an Accountant at Magnacap, you will be crucial in managing and analyzing our financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
Perform audits and resolve discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
Provide insights and recommendations for financial planning and strategy.
Monitor project budgets and costs, ensuring financial efficiency
Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA certification preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance department
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
