Job Title: SME Sales Officer
Location: Yaba, Lagos State, Nigeria
Job Type: Full Time
Duties:
l Present, promote, and sell financial products and services to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
l Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their financial needs.
l Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
l Reach out to customer leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
l Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
l Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule.
l Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.
l Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
l Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales plans.
l Set short-term and long-term sales goals and align them with company targets.
l Prepare and deliver presentations on financial products and services to SMEs.
l Maintain detailed records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM software.
l Monitor sales metrics and analyze data to make informed decisions.
l Manage sales pipelines, forecast sales, and report progress to senior management.
l Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
l Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling financial products to maximize revenue.
l Prepare regular sales reports, including sales volume, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts.
l Present insights and recommendations to senior management to drive business decisions.
Requirements:
l Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
l Proven experience as a SME Sales Officer or similar role for at least three (2) years, preferably in the financial services industry.
l Strong understanding of sales processes, strategies, and techniques.
l Excellent leadership and team management skills.
l Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
l Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
l Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
l Strong organizational and time management abilities.
l Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
l Familiarity with sales analytics and reporting tools.
