Lift Technician

Overview

Responsibilities:

To service, repairs, install elevators, ensure all lifts are maintained as per the OHS Act of South Africa as amended
Assist in emergency situations
Report and rectify any unsafe situations

Be able to read drawings, wire a controller
Keep a clean, organized and safe work environment
Use courtesy and respect when dealing with management, staff, co-workers, and clients at all times
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Good communications skills, self-motivated, mature, dependable, timely and able to work well with others
Willing and able to work in all weather conditions
Ability to work at excessive heights
Ability to work under pressure
Good working knowledge of current lift regulations
