Position: Director of Programs, Partnerships, and Communications (DPC)

Job Summary:
This role focuses on managing sustainability programs, building partnerships with schools, universities, and industry, and driving advocacy for sustainable practices. Responsibilities include developing research projects, designing educational initiatives, promoting teacher training, coordinating mentorship programs, and fostering collaborations to support SAF’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver and manage sustainability programs in collaboration with schools, educators, and industry partners.
2. Build and maintain partnerships with schools, sponsors, universities, and industry stakeholders.
3. Oversee social media, promotional content, and public relations for visibility.
4. Develop and manage research projects like biogas, upcycling plastics, and biochar.
5. Design and implement educational programs on sustainability and innovation for students and educators.
6. Market and manage SAF’s teacher training platform, providing support to trained facilitators.
7. Establish SAF university clubs and organize events, workshops, and internships.
Skills and Qualification
1. Strong program management and sustainability expertise.
2. Ability to build and maintain partnerships with schools, universities, and industry.
3. Proficient in social media and promotional content. programs.
4. Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Education, or related field.
5. 2+ years of relevant experience in program/event management, partnerships, or communications.
6. Proven ability to manage research projects and drive sustainability initiatives.
