Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Account Officer to join our team at TollyClassic Delivery, a leading warehouse and logistics company. The Account Officer will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Record Keeping:
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
– Prepare and manage ledgers, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
– Ensure all financial records are compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
– Process and monitor accounts payable and receivable transactions.
– Verify and reconcile invoices and payments.
– Follow up on outstanding invoices and ensure timely collection of payments from clients.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
– Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
– Monitor and report on budget variances and suggest corrective actions as needed.
– Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
Bank Reconciliation:
– Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial records.
– Resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
Payroll Management:
– Process payroll for company employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with payroll laws.
– Maintain payroll records and handle payroll-related queries.
Financial Reporting:
– Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
– Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
Internal Controls:
– Implement and maintain effective internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
– Conduct periodic audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
Education:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
– Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CPA) is a plus.

Experience:
– Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the logistics or warehouse industry.
– Proven experience with accounting software and financial management systems.

Skills:
– Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
– Excellent organizational and time management skills.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
– Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
– Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions:
– This is a full-time position based at our Abuja warehouse.
The role be at the office Mondays – Saturdays.

SALARY: 150,000naira only
