Whirks of Memphis, TN is seeking a full-time Business Development Representative to join our growing sales team. In this outside sales role, you will sell our SaaS-based human capital management (HCM) platform that provides a full suite of payroll, HR and Insurance offerings. This is a highly consultative role; you will meet with various decision-makers and be responsible for developing a full set of solutions to meet their specific business needs. Depending on your experience, you will receive a base salary of $44,000-$54,000 plus commission and bonuses. (First-year outside sales roles make $65,000-$85,000, second-year executives from $95,000-$130,000, and third-year executives – much more!) We offer generous paid time off (PTO), holiday pay, employer-paid health, dental, vision, and life insurance, monthly profit sharing, automobile, and cell phone allowances, 401(k) contribution of 3%, and many other perks to all full-time sales employees. Job growth and development for Business Development Representatives that meet their quotas in 2 consecutive quarters can take courses to learn to become Insurance brokers to increase their commissions.

 

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• College degree preferred.

• Some experience in B2B sales, preferably in a service-based industry – or a desire to work in a B2B sales role for the first time.

• Effective communicator with strong business acumen and the ability to engage with small business owners and C-suite executives.

• Must be tech-savvy – embrace and learn new software with ease!

• Upbeat, confident, and friendly personality.

• Desire to learn, develop, and grow within a top-tier sales organization!

• A Winner! History of achievement throughout various stages of life. Proven track record of success through honors, awards, and promotions.

 

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Sell our suite of payroll, HR and Insurance offerings – Sell payroll, human resource and

Insurance services to small and mid-size businesses.

• Strategic Partnership Development – Build channel partnerships in the local and regional market and maintain our proven, defined verticals (Bankers, 401K Brokers, etc)

• Be a Whirks Ambassador – Constantly be a brand ambassador for our firm by attending networking events, strategic meetings and trade shows locally and regionally. Our culture is unique, fun and caring, and we want it to be evident in all your actions.

• Lead Generation through Channel Partner Networking – Develop a full, repeatable

pipeline selling our payroll suite of services, full HR service line and our competitive insurance offerings.

• Forecast Continued Growth – Understand the impact of service quality on client satisfaction and client retention. Upsell client base on services that would match their current growing pains. as well as foreseeable growth trajectories. Help clients get one step better every day!
